What is HealthQuest?

The Problem

  • Your family already knows what “healthy” means. Doing it every day, together, is the hard part.

  • Many families don’t know where to start or how to build consistent habits.

  • Existing apps often focus only on weight or adult wellness, leaving kids behind.

Why HealthQuest is Different

  • Starts with your family: a short check-in finds what’s really in the way, then builds the path from there.

  • Parents get their own journey: lessons that teach each concept and show you how to model it at home, so you’re on the same team instead of the one doing the nagging.

  • Built by a pediatric nurse practitioner: content informed by AAP, NASPGHAN, NEDA, NAMI, and USDA MyPlate guidance.

HealthQuest starts with a comprehensive barriers assessment to identify the specific challenges each child faces. Based on this assessment, we generate personalized SMART goals. Users can select 1-2 goals per quest, which guide them through structured, interactive challenges designed to improve their health.

How it was built


HealthQuest draws on published research in behavior change, personalized learning, and family health. Starting with what’s actually in the way, making learning feel like a game for kids, and having parents and kids work on habits together have each been studied. HealthQuest brings them together in one place for families.

Where our content comes from

Our lessons follow guidance from the AAP, NASPGHAN, NEDA, NAMI, and USDA MyPlate, and they’re written by a pediatric nurse practitioner.
